Each LED column represents a digit of the time, whereby the number is displayed in binary. This means that the bottom LED represents the 1, the second the 2, the third the 4 and the top the 8. To get the corresponding digit, you simply have to add up all the illuminated LEDs in a column.  (In the picture the time is e.g. 10:24:36)\u003cbr\u003eIn addition, with this new edition of the binary clock you can also switch to \"real\" binary mode, in which case the bottom three lines represent seconds, minutes and hours. (In the picture, for example, the time in this mode is 5:11:34)\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe clock has a dimmer switch so that you can adjust the brightness of the LEDs to the surroundings. After all, you don't want to be dazzled when coding at night. And of course the clock comes with detailed instructions in German, English, French and Spanish.
