Die Kategorie sammelt Fanartikel rund um Marty McFly, Doc Brown und die wohl bekannteste Edelstahlkarosserie der Filmgeschichte. Den DeLorean gibt es als Metal Earth 3D-Bausatz zum Zusammenstecken, als Modellauto in der Frost-Edition und als TUBBZ Special Edition – diese Reihe steckt bekanntlich alles in Entenform, auch Marty selbst, den es als Plüsch-Ente und als Boxed Edition von 2015 gibt. Für die Wand oder die Werkstatt liegt das Nummernschild Outatime bereit, es gibt Untersetzer aus Metall im Viererset, und wer beim Betrachten Durst bekommt, greift zum Nummernschild-Flaschenöffner. Die Spanne reicht damit vom Stück für die Vitrine bis zu Dingen, die du täglich in die Hand nimmst.
Fluxkompensator in allen Größenordnungen
Ohne das Bauteil, das die ganze Zeitreiserei erst möglich macht, geht hier gar nichts: Der Fluxkompensator taucht als eigenes Produkt auf, als Geek Aufkleber und als Geek Button – damit lässt sich zur Not auch ein Laptopdeckel auf Zeitreise schicken. Dazu kommen Motive wie „Back to the Past“ und „Choose Your Time Machine“, ein Metallbarren zum Sport-Almanach für alle, die es insgeheim mit Biff halten, und ein Geschenkset für den schnellen Zugriff. Dass sich zwischen all das ein Schild mit „TARDIS Parking Only“ mogelt, ist ein Gruß an die Nachbarschaft von Doctor Who – Zeitreisende halten eben zusammen, egal ob sie mit Sportwagen oder mit Telefonzelle unterwegs sind.
Für alle, die noch aufs Hoverboard warten
Bis das Schwebebrett tatsächlich in Serie geht, muss man sich anders behelfen: mit einem Aufkleber am Rechner, einer Ente im Regal oder einem Bausatz für den nächsten verregneten Sonntag. Die Kategorie eignet sich für alle, die die Filme seit den Achtzigern mitsprechen können, und genauso für die, die sie erst gestern zum ersten Mal gesehen haben.
